Stage 3 - Partner Training

Last week, we sent out an email to our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai members, that we feel may have been poorly worded. In the email we stated:

Only 1 partner per class. That partner must either be someone from your household, or within your social circle of 10 people.

Level of Contact

This stage allows for limited partner training under the following circumstances:

  • The partners live in the same household.

  • The partners are in the same social circle.

  • If you partner is not a current member, we would like to offer them the same prices listed above for the month.  They will also be required to purchase a gi or gloves/hand wraps if they currently do not have them.

  • Each partner will be required to sign an attestation to the fact that they are in the same social circle/household.

We understand that not everyone lives with someone that already trains, or is willing to train with them. So for many of you, the email that we sent out may have seemed somewhat pointless.

We are willing to assist with connecting people who wish to re-start training, but don't have a training partner. This is why it is important that we here from you with respect to your willingness to come back to training, what time works best for you, and whether you need a training partner.

If you do need to be connected with another person at the gym, you must be willing to allow them into your social circle of 10. I posted an article here about allowing people into your social circle.

Let us know if you would like to get back to training.

  • Check out the proposed timetable here, and think about what times work best for you.

  • Think about whether you need a training partner, and whether you have room in your social circle to add someone else from the gym.

  • Send an email to: and let us know:

  1. Your interest level.

  2. The time slots that work best for you.

  3. Whether you need a training partner.

The sooner we receive responses, the sooner that we can solidify a workable timetable, and get back to training.
